The Fairtax sounds fantastic, no doubt. But the fine print shows it’s a farce, and it’s own leaders know it.

But PLEASE pass the Fairtax! A national sales tax to replace all others will be 90% — they got 23% by pretending they can tax the government.

So please pass FT, expose the insanity and lies, so we can then get a sane tax code that helps business and labor.

BTW – have you even wondered why in 13 years, no corporation is for FT?

Here is why — because it’s a farce

Fair enough — but sorry, we are a democracy. There are different types of democracies — direct democracy is what we are not. That means everyone gets together and votes on things directly.

Can’t happen in a city of any size, much less a nation.

But we are a DEMOCRACY in the sense that people chose their leaders, and can choose, if they want, their laws by referendum of amendment to Constitution.

The power is ultimately in the hands of the people. That’s a democracy.

um do you not realize that the seat that had been taking was owned by senator ted Kennedy for over 35yrs, a lifelong democrat insistent on socialized medicine in the most democratic state in the union? its a rap for the democratic congress.
