Searching on the internet for a make money business opportunity can be at best bewildering. How do you know which one to choose? How to you eliminate the scams? How do you identify one that actually makes money for anyone but the leaders?

There are a few simple steps to ensure you are on the right path.
�
Take a look at some of the incredible claims being made about income. How many million dollars do you want in your first few months? What about the Lamborghini, or the superyacht or the Brad and Angelina type home? Exactly!
�
First step – get the “get rich quick†schemes right out of the picture. Anyone who says no investment, no skills, no time, no effort is not going to be a starter as attractive as these may be. To make money from the internet you are going to need time or money or both – fact!
�
Next step is to eliminate any brand new, ground floor, start-up, pre-launch or any other untried companies. Anyone can start a new internet business from their bedroom if they want to and identify a product (or not) and go on a promotional spree to gain exposure – easy!
�
Next is to look to see if you can identify any of the leaders or the consultants with the opportunity. Firstly are they real people? Can you find out about them and is there information readily available about who they are and what they do? Importantly are there any legal judgments against them or their companies?
�
Also look very closely at what is being promoted and sold. Are the products valuable and in demand without the business opportunity attached? If not you are looking at one of the many money-go-rounds or pyramid schemes being touted as a real business.
�
Does the company you are looking at have a history of success over a period of time. Can you research the track record and results of the members. Are any testimonials involving income results backed up with affidavits to ensure the validity of what is being said?
�
A quick word of warning about any research you may do on a particular business. Learn to recognize marketers from other companies using a successful name to leverage their results. If you type in the company you are looking at along with scam or review you will either get people from within the company or others berating it as a fraud and then recommending you join them instead – lazy and unimaginative marketing and a technique which the company I work with prohibits!

Also make sure the “official scam review†site is what it says it is. There are many sites out there pretending to be official scam busters which are nothing more than affiliate sites promoting certain businesses to gain commissions. You will need to be able to spot these.
�
So – don’t believe everything you see or read, do your research, make sure you identify strongly with the mission of the company, make sure the reputation for integrity is there.
�
Ensure the compensation plan is structured to make money with large up-front commissions, not complex percentage formulae with eventual residuals.
�
Once you have found the right make money business opportunity give it everything you have got because nothing less than total commitment will count in the incredibly competitive world of successful internet marketing!
