About the Language Learning Process
Though learning a language is a life time journey, most of the journey takes place in the early years. Generally in the first five years of a child’s life, brain development is at its peak. Children will communicate less if their family members talk less or when the children are talked to less. Adult family members should always respond to any communication gesture from a child. The communication development of a child is delayed if the above is done. The advice given to some parents is that they should wait for the child to outgrow the situation. The child’s language learning process in this critical stage is derailed by the wait and watch and watch approach.
Participation in conversations and activities will be very hard if the children have not developed good speech. The matter is even worse when they do not get the help that they require. It is most likely that the children will be left behind more. Extra support received by a child from the important adults in their lives improves their situation tremendously. The situation can be improved when the speech therapy is done at an early stage. It enables the children develop skills through communication skills. In the future academic and personal lives of children, it will help them be successful.

The child should be taught non-verbal communication skills as the other tip. You should be there to guide the children. Through watching parents, children are able to learn communication skills. Children will take in what they see and hear so be careful any time you are communicating. This will help them have great communication skills.
Be part of their learning process and offer guidance. The language skills of a child is reinforced with feedback they get any time they communicate.
